Request funding from GlobalQuest for a project

When providing information about your organisation and your priority project please consider the following criteria for support used to evaluate requests.

Criteria for support

For a project to be considered for funding support, GlobalQuest prefers a Coffey staff member to sponsor the nomination.

The sponsor along with the applicant is required to provide written details about the need and the type of support being requested.

GlobalQuest provides guidelines as to the form of the written submission and the criteria used by the Management Committee to evaluate and prioritise the project for funding support.

Projects are evaluated from the information provided in the submission as well as other public sources of information in relation to:

  • the direct engagement or involvement of Coffey staff in the work of the project
  • the clear impact of the proposed activity in making a difference to communities rather than individuals
  • the sustainability of the outputs of the project to support clearly defined humanitarian needs
  • the ‘value for money’ proposition proposed by way of the project objectives.

Projects that define the need for a single discrete allocation of financial resources directly towards tangible goods or services are generally favoured over proposals that commit GlobalQuest to ongoing fiscal support.

Funding grants vary in size. Small scale infrastructure projects that serve a specific community need are generally well received by GlobalQuest.

Project support will only be given to companies, organisations and individuals GlobalQuest considers ethical. Companies and organisations specifically excluded from receiving financial contributions by GlobalQuest include political parties, pharmaceutical, gambling, tobacco, and alcohol companies.
