Professor Harry Poulos is being recognised by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) for their Lifetime Achievement Award in Design. This annual award honours an outstanding civil engineering leader for lifetime accomplishments in innovation and excellence in civil engineering design.
The award will be presented at the Outstanding Project and Leaders (OPAL) Gala in March 2017 in Arlington, Virginia, USA.
Harry is a Senior Geotechnical Consultant at Coffey. He’s a highly respected engineer and mentor and an international thought leader in geotechnical engineering and foundation design.
In 2014, Harry had been elected by his peers as a Foreign Associate to The National Academy of Engineering (United States). This honour is one of the highest given to an engineer globally. It acknowledges those who have made outstanding contributions to their field.
