Before Ghana’s last national elections, Partners in Participatory Development (PAPADEV), a local NGO, carried out a voter education campaign among remote communities in Ghana’s Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District. Thousands of rural citizens from 30 communities were reached through PAPADEV’s work.
The work was funded by STAR-Ghana, a multi-donor program that supported 44 organisations’ projects for ensuring peaceful, transparent and fair elections in Ghana in 2012.
