Federal Assistant Minister for Infrastructure Jamie Briggs recently visited a site of M4 East geotechnical investigations.
Coffey is delivering geotechnical site investigations for this section of WestConnex to support the project’s design and construct tendering phase.
Managing Director John Douglas said the site investigations would inform the next phase of the project.
“This part of the WestConnex project will include 5km of twin road tunnels from Homebush and Haberfield,” he said.
“We’re providing a clear understanding of the ground conditions to support the future success of the project.”
Coffey is currently completing a range of testing, including the development of 100 boreholes, testing and groundwater monitoring.
