Economic and Private Sector – PEAKS provides DFID access to technical specialists who can provide technical advice on economic and private sector development projects worldwide and can also assist in programme design and implementation. European Commission Framework Contract Beneficiaries 2009 (BENEF 2009)
The objective of the Beneficiaries 2009 (BENEF 2009) Framework Contract is to source experts for short-term projects in countries receiving foreign aid from the European Union (including countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the Balkans, the Commonwealth of Independent States, Latin America, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Asia-Pacific, and more). As a member of international consortia led by IBF and ADE, Coffey International Development is the framework contract provider for the following lots: Lot 7: Governance and Home Affairs; Lot 8: Health; Lot 9: Culture, Education, Employment and Social; Lot 10: Trade, Standards and Private Sector; and Lot 11: Macroeconomics, Statistics, Public Finance Management.

European Commission Framework Contract Commission 2011
The Commission 2011 Framework Contract is an instrument for the rapid and transparent recruitment of experts from numerous disciplines, within any field covered by the European Union’s cooperation and development programs. As a member of an IBF led international consortium, Coffey International Development is the framework contract provider for Lot 1: Studies and Technical Assistance. The main sectors of assistance provided under this lot are: social development/employment/eradication of poverty; education; health; civil society; human rights; governance/state reform/security; migration; trade/development of the private sector; food security; rural development; environment/climate/natural resources/energy; and development policies.

European Commission Framework Contract for the Provision of Services to Support EU Information and Communication Policy
How to plan and implement European Commission (EC) communication campaigns to achieve a desired effect remains a significant challenge, particularly as many Europeans still do not fully understand what the EC does. For the third successive time, Coffey International Development’s Evaluation and Research team has been awarded a four-year Framework Contract to support the communication efforts of the EC’s Research Directorate General. This purpose of this contract is to enable the European Commission to develop information and communication policies and actions, which take account of target audiences.

Forest Governance, Markets and Climate Services Framework
The Forest Governance, Markets and Climate Services Framework provides international, regional and country services to DFID’s Forest Governance Markets and Climate programme, which supports governance and market reforms that reduce the illegal use of forest resources while at the same time benefiting the poor. The Framework also provides specialist services to the United Kingdom’s bilateral country partnerships to help deliver Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD+).

The Governance and Security (G&S) Framework is a mechanism for DFID to procure new projects through approved suppliers. Governance, Social Development, Conflict and Humanitarian - Professional Evidence and Applied Knowledge Services (GSDCH - PEAKS)
The GSDCH PEAKS framework offers a common minimum set of Professional Evidence and Applied Knowledge Services (PEAKS) in the areas of governance, social development, conflict and humanitarian assistance. It provides operational and super-specialist support to enable the rapid sourcing of experts whenever DFID requires surge capacity or when specialist expertise is not available in-house. It also provides a set of knowledge products (such as a document library, professional development sessions and an eBulletin featuring new emerging research) to maintain and build advisers’ professional and technical competencies.
