Prior to a purchase, finance or insurance decision, due diligence and auditing may be required to ensure compliance with protocols, permits, licenses and project conditions.
Coffey Environments has worked on diverse environmental and social due diligence projects, including mining, smelting, petroleum (LNG) and other development projects. We focus on hazards, risks, the quantum of potential liabilities and remedial options along with potential intangible factors such as the culture of operators and regulators and host society customs.
Capabilities:
- assessment of compliance with: legislation, standards and guidelines; corporate policies and project commitments; technical and environmental processes and constraints; and the specific objectives of investigation
- development of review/audit criteria and/or protocols
