Our network of experts provide specialist services for a range of infrastructure projects, including roads, rail, bridges, marinas and ports, dams, desalination plants, pipelines, nearshore structures such as seawalls, and underground works such as tunnels.
To do this, we draw on knowledge from our specialists in unstable ground conditions, contaminated land, route selection and alignment, soft ground, pavements, foundations and piles, slopes and retaining structures, excavations, groundwater, dewatering and drainage, geophysics, mine subsidence risk, seismic design, liquefaction studies, and geomorphology.
We also manage the earth for property and land developments that include high-rise structures, commercial properties and residential properties. With over 30 years experience in residential, commercial and industrial subdivisions, specialist knowledge is applied to investigation, design and certification. This is applied to suitability of land use, including earthfills, settlement, stability, road infrastructure, sanitary and stormwater drainage, etc, as well as design of retaining walls, gabions, stabilised slopes, groundwater control systems, earth dams, etc. Certification of developed land for building purposes is one of our major responsibilities.
Our geotechnical experts develop and implement practical designs and solutions for mine infrastructure, tailings embankments, abandoned mines, mine dewatering and water supply schemes. We often work closely with Coffey Mining on large scale mine sites.
