Coffey Geotechnics operates survey management software that integrates the navigation and recording of seismic data within the one package.
To complement the seismic acquisition suite, a dual frequency echosounder system is mounted to the vessel. This unit can record water depths with survey grade accuracy, at a sample rate to ensure 100% coverage of the area of interest without excessive reduction in vessel speed.
The system has the additional benefit of recording the full seismic waveform from the transducer, which additional information regarding bottom conditions can be gained.
