Civil Lab, a highly regarded Auckland based Testing Group, was purchased by Coffey Information NZ in December 2008 as part of the strategy to grow the New Zealand testing operations. Civil Lab has been an IANZ accredited Civil Engineering Materials Testing Laboratory since 1978.
Originally the Manukau City Council Laboratory, it was privately owned by Ross Brackebush and Ed Cull who have had collectively over 50 years experience in the civil engineering industry. Civil Lab has three IANZ approved signatories and 8 technicians, a fully equipped laboratory based in East Tamaki and premises in Silverdale. The business operates a 24 hour / 7 Day business to cater for all and clients can be assured that quality will be maintained at the highest possible standard.
The two laboratories will be combined with Coffey Information NZ's three laboratories to become a market leader in the greater Auckland region. Ross and Ed will play key roles in driving the New Zealand business including expansion plans into the South Island and South-East Asia.
