Gold for Coffey at Consult Australia Awards

Managing for Results in International Development

Are current approaches to international development too inflexible and unresponsive to changing circumstances? Is it time for new, more flexible and adaptive approaches in development planning?

In October we hosted a seminar in London exploring these questions as well as the broader issue of aid effectiveness. Panellists included Tim Harford, Dr Peter Davis, Bernard Jenkin MP, Dr Dominik Zaum, Simon Griffiths and MSI's Larry Cooley.

Growth and Employment in States (GEMS) 2: Construction and Real Estate Sector

We are supporting sustainable approaches to raising incomes, creating jobs and bolstering growth in Nigeria's construction sector. This is the first M4P (Making Markets Work for the Poor) project dedicated to the construction industry.

National and Provincial Administrative Reform Project (Tarabot)

Coffey subsidiary MSI recently won the USAID-funded National and Provincial Administrative Reform Project, known as Tarabot, meaning “linkages” in Arabic. The Iraqi government serves 30 million people; and the project will help the long-term stability of the Iraqi government through institutional capacity development.

This partnership aims to improve maternal and neonatal health as well as the performance of the health system in targeted provinces and districts of Indonesia. The outcomes of the project are directly linked to the Millennium Development Goals.

Tatweer Project (Iraq – Strengthening National Capacity in Public Management)

Supported by USAID and implemented by MSI (a subsidiary of Coffey), the National Capacity Development (NCD) project, Tatweer, is a flagship effort to rebuild and redirect the Government of Iraq’s administrative capacity to deliver core services to the Iraqi people.
