Extractive Industry Management
We work with government, civil society and private companies to develop capacity and demand for improved governance, transparency and accountability in the oil, gas and mining industries.
We have cross-disciplinary expertise in extractive industry management, including revenue transparency, extractive sector policy and regulation, local economic and social development, natural resource management and public voice and accountability.
We provide a range of services to develop efficient systems to manage natural resources and revenues and support the extractive sector’s contribution to economic growth and poverty reduction. We have worked with government ministries and agencies at all levels, and a common theme of our work has been to promote partnership approaches: facilitating linkages between different levels of government and with the private sector and civil society to support pro-poor policy reform. We support the implementation of international transparency and certification schemes, and we are an accredited Validator of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI).
