(6 July 2011) The Coffey International Award was presented to IFFCO Kisan Sanchar Ltd on Monday night at the Business in the Community’s Gala Dinner in London. Coffey International Limited sponsored the award in order to celebrate and encourage businesses that contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals.
IFFCO Kisan Sanchar Ltd (IKSL) was recognised for its M-Powering Farmers Mobile Phone initiative, a service that helps farmers become more productive, profitable and sustainable by providing easier access to agricultural information via mobile phones.

(4 July 2011) Global professional consultancy Coffey International Limited today announced that subsidiary Management Systems International (MSI), a part of Coffey International Development, has been awarded a USAID contract to deliver the National and Provincial Administrative Reform Project in Iraq. The project is known as Tarabot in Arabic or “linkages”. MSI have signed a contract for the first year of a possible four year, US$151.3 million project.

16 September 2009) At the last Australasian Evaluation Society (AES) Awards Conference in Canberra, Coffey was awarded the Caulley-Tulloch Award for the best evaluation publication in 2009 for the Australia Papua New Guinea Incentive Fund (APNGIF) book entitled Changing Lives: Stories from the Australian PNG Incentive Fund.

2 July 2009) The Global Poverty Project (GPP) seeks to educate global audiences about poverty in the developing world. It has developed a 90 minute presentation entitled
1.4 Billion Reasons that will be delivered to over 40 locations around the world in the coming months. Coffey International Development has contributed extensively to the GPP, by providing specialist advice and guidance over the past nine months.

11 November 2008) Coffey International Limited today announced subsidiary Coffey International Development has, in the last month, been awarded more than US$140 million of aid contracts in Iraq, Sudan and Peru by the Millennium Challenge Corporation and United States Government. The announcement of this substantial pipeline of committed work is on top of Coffey’s strong first quarter financial performance, in which revenue reached almost $191 million on improved margins.

Via ECF, businesses are provided with grants to commercialise sound business ideas that also have a positive impact on poverty reduction.
