Coffey International Develpment manages the Australian Indonesian Partnership for Maternal and Neonatal Health (AIPMNH), which is working with Provincial and District Governments in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) to implement Revolusi KIA, the NTT Government’s commitment to improve maternal and neonatal health, improve the performance of the health system and thereby contribute to achievement of the national Millennium Development Goals 4 and 5 targets by 2015.
The goal of the Partnership is for improved maternal and neonatal health (MNH) in targeted provinces and districts. The short-term objective is that selected provincial and district governments have mechanisms in place to manage national, local and donor resources to achieve national target levels for the priority Making Pregnancy Safer Strategy indicators.
The longer-term objective is that selected provincial and district governments will effectively manage national, local and donor resources to progressively achieve Millennium Development Goal targets for maternal and child health.
The Program has three components designed to improve service delivery and community engagement, provide health systems support and assist system reforms in performance and accountability.
