I’m a Senior Principal Geoenvironmental Engineer and I provide a focal point for service excellence and technical development for the Site Assessment and Remediation teams. I’ve been involved in the areas of contaminated land consulting and research for 25 years and hold a PhD.
Understanding what drives in-ground risks allows us to apply ingenuity and take intelligent risks to manage hazards with confidence. I have applied this approach to improve site value and reduce environmental liability for clients in Australia and New Zealand. Projects I’ve worked on include assessment of the human and ecological risk of PFAS exposure, landfill gas assessment and mitigation to allow development, remediation and health risk assessment of petroleum sites to allow sale for high value uses, environmental management plans to control risks to human health or the environment, and due diligence assessment to interpret potential liability from contamination.
